Great Cooks was launched in 1998 and is a full service catering and event planning company. We are dedicated to executing flawless events by exceeding our guest’s expectations with the highest quality of food and service. Our menu items are prepared from the finest ingredients and made from scratch from our team of well-trained chefs. Great Cooks can provide a customized menu to fit your vision and price point while exceeding your highest expectations. Our team takes pride in our work and with our extensive repertoire and custom designed menus, it allows us to execute a multiple of varied events for the same client while providing a unique dining experience at each event.

In additional to our exemplary catering, our services include site selection, theme and décor concepts, rental management, and floral design services. We provide many unique china settings and display pieces to make your event a memorable experience with a unique presentation. Great Cooks can accommodate a group of 10 for a customized dinner party or up to 600 guests for a gala, fundraiser or wedding. Currently, Great Cooks caters for many notable families in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas as well as some interesting celebrities.


Nancy Landman has studied throughout the world at many of the best culinary schools. She is a graduate of Michigan State University, has worked alongside some of the great chefs like Giuliano Bugialli in Florence Italy, Jacques Pepin in Chicago & Simone Beck the Assistant to Julia Child in Leon, France, and was Chef Instructor at Ivy Tech University, Food & Beverage Director at Canterbury Hotel and is a member of the American Culinary Association.
